Dr Davies has broad experience of general neurological disorders gained through specialist training both in Birmingham and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. His NHS practice in Hereford allows him to keep up to date with the more common neurological diseases whilst the remaining part of his job consists of specialist clinics in nerve (neuropathy) and muscle (myopathy and dystrophy).

Birmingham has a long tradition as a centre of excellence for metabolic medicine and Dr Davies runs combined Neurometabolic clinics with other physicians experienced in the management of patients with such disorders.
